Victoria Square House

GVA FM have awarded HFL Building Solutions through their consultants Focus FM a three year Engineering Services Maintenance contract at Victoria Square House, Birmingham. 

Victoria Square House is a part grade II listed chateau with a more modern office attached to form one of Birmingham’s more prominent buildings and set over 150,000 square feet. 

A GVA Senior Facilities Manager stated that HFL Building Solutions had listened to their issues and proposed a service that gave ‘added value’ to the building and it’s tenants over the coming years. 

HFL Building Solutions have two residential engineers on site Monday to Friday with support of their mobile engineering team in the Birmingham area. 

Not only does this cover day to day facilities operations and asset management as laid out within the contract but also a whole range of 'value add' services, including: 

• Constant review of working practices & maintenance strategies in order to deliver a cost efficient service to GVA.
• Advising GVA on changes in legislation in regards to building services as well as communicating current trends within technical facilities management.
• Advising GVA on energy saving and management initiatives through HFL Energy Solutions division.
• Utilisation of our project teams to refurbish various floors within the complex. (Energy saving initiatives are built in during refurbishments to reduce disruption to the tenants)
• Provision of a Twenty-Four hour seven days a week cover to all areas, whether under contract to HFL Building Solutions or not. Predominantly dealing with any property service emergencies or first fix breakdowns (tenant plant) but also attending any facility maintenance queries that will allow the tenants to concentrate on their core business activities.

HFL Building Solutions are highly experienced in providing Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance services and this year has seen a broadening of this expertise in the Birmingham area over the last 12 months.
