One charity that is very dear to our hearts at Building Solutions is Wish Upon a Star. MD Dave Saxton has been supporting them for 13 years and HFL Building Solutions as a company have sponsored them since 2006. This year Dave and his wife Jane together with colleagues Marcus and Mel Savile attended the fundraising Black and White Ball in Manchester with clients John and Trudy Toomer form The Lowry, Warren and Lisa Critchley from Alton Towers and Spencer and Chantelle Hogg from Savills.
The night was a huge success and raised an incredible £50,000 to help make the wishes of terminally ill children come true. The money will also go towards the charity's annual trip to Lapland for 400 youngsters.
